Aimée has 10 years of experience in the environmental field, 6 years as a practicing professional. She is familiar with applications under the Water Act for end pit lakes, pit-to-pit dewatering, or dewatering offsite. She has advised managers and clients on regulatory requirements associated with both Water Act applications and Code of Practices. Part of her work has included completing soil and vegetation assessments where rare plants and species at risk are always a consideration. She has participated in field assessments and coordinated biological field programs including: vegetation, ecological land classification, wetland, wildlife, species at risk, soil classification and monitoring, as well as coordinated and prepared environmental approvals and permits required for projects including Federal, Provincial, and Municipal permits; she has also been involved in First Nation Consultations. In addition, she has worked on environmental impact assessments, Phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, detailed site assessments, groundwater monitoring, remediation and reclamation certificate applications.
Aimée is a registered Professional Agrologist as well as a Certified Engineering Technologist and is a Wetland Authenticating Professional. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Geography and a Geomatics Certificate from Nipissing University as well as an Architectural Technology degree from Fanshawe College. In addition, she has obtained extensive post-secondary training in multiple facets of Environmental Science including Applied Soil Physics; Water Quality; Wetland Delineation, Classification, and Assessment; Applied Soil Fertility; Applied Hydrogeology; Classification and Reclamation of Alberta Soils; and Plant Identification. She is also adept with AutoCAD, is a Commissioner for Oaths in Alberta, and has completed the Level 1 Fundamentals Swimming Coach and Lifeguard training. Her passion fuels her willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions.
